Stemming from a mosaic of parcels and lieu-dits across the entire Juliénas appellation, principally composed of diorites (the blue stone typical of the appellation), this Juliénas is a veritable hymn to its terroir: it reveals an absolutely captivating mineral character! Furthermore, ageing in concrete tanks and large wooden casks for 6 to 8 months allows the texture and aromatic complexity of the wine to be refined, whilst preserving its fruity and fresh character. Brimming with notes of violet and morello cherry, this fresh and delicate cuvée presents itself as an essential companion for your shared dinners! The typicity of Juliénas is often considered to be halfway between the wines of the Côte de Nuits and those of the Rhône valley… Something to please all tastes!
