ALCOHOL
Château La Croix St-Estèphe 2020 comes to us from the Saint-Estèphe appellation, at the heart of the prestigious Médoc vineyard, on the left bank of the Gironde. This red wine is representative of its terroir, produced according to Bordeaux traditions. If we rely on the practices of the raw and the information recorded, the blend would favour Cabernet Sauvignon, accompanied by Merlot, and touches of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the classic signature of the region. The 2020 vintage, fairly sunny, offers concentrated wines, expressive, with a marked tannic structure and preserved freshness, the result of a balance between fruit maturity and ageing potential. The winemaking, carefully conducted, aims to magnify the elegance of the terroir whilst respecting the natural power of the raw.
